Carrot Halwa Recipe

Carrot Halwa Recipe (dessert)

Ingredients-
Grated carrot - 1kg
Full fat cream - 350ml
Cardamom - 4/5
Rose water -1tbsp
Clarified butter -3tbsp
Brown sugar -1cup
Dry fruit (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add the grated carrot in a pressure cooker and cook it until one whistle.
  2. After pressure cooking it add cream, cardamom and rose water.
  3. Cook in low flame until all the liquid dries up. The carrot will also turns very soft.
  4. Add clarified butter, sugar and cook until the extra liquid dries up again.
  5. Add any dry fruit of your choice and serve hot or cold as per the taste. Enjoy!

Tip- keep steering in between to prevent burning when cooking with cream and  sugar.
