Heart Shaped Eggless Chocolate Cake

Heart shape Eggless chocolate cake recipe with marzipan
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil/ butter
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Marzipan (enough to cover the cake)
Cornflour (for kneading marzipan)
Instructions:
1) Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
2) In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and baking powder.
3) Make three wells in the dry ingredients. Pour the oil into one, vinegar into the second, and vanilla extract into the third.
4) Pour the water over the entire mixture and whisk until well combined. The batter will be thin, but that's okay.
5) Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6) Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove it from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
7) Once the cake is completely cool, you can start working with the marzipan.
8) Knead the marzipan to soften it.
9) Dust a clean surface with powdered sugar/ cornflour and roll out the marzipan to the desired thickness.
10) Carefully drape the rolled-out marzipan over the cake and gently smooth it over the surface to cover the cake completely.
11) Trim away any excess marzipan and use your creativity to shape and decorate the marzipan-covered cake as you like.
12) Your heart-shaped eggless chocolate cake with marzipan is ready to be enjoyed!
