This incredibly simple baked rigatoni dish requires just five ingredients and minimal effort for a satisfying meal. It's a perfect weeknight dinner solution that the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 1 pound rigatoni pasta
Sauce and Cheese
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and cook the rigatoni according to package directions until al dente, then drain well.
Assembly
  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rigatoni, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, mixing thoroughly.
  2. Spread half of the pasta mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish, then sprinkle with half of the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Add the remaining pasta mixture to the dish, and top with the rest of the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dish is heated through.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinara sauce, or fresh basil before serving.
