Preparation
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
- Sear the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through; remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, then stir in balsamic vinegar, chicken broth, honey, and minced garlic.
- Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until it has thickened slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the balsamic glaze, and serve immediately.
Notes
Serve this Balsamic Chicken with roasted vegetables or a side salad for a complete meal. The rich sauce is also excellent over rice or pasta.
