Crab Cakes
  • 1 lb Crab meat
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 Egg large
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs

Preparation
  1. Gently combine crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and egg in a mixing bowl.
  2. Fold in the breadcrumbs until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Form the mixture into individual crab cakes.
Cooking
  1. Pan-fry the crab cakes in a non-stick pan with a little oil over medium heat until golden brown and heated through, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  2. Alternatively, bake the crab cakes on a baking sheet at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality lump crab meat. Be gentle when mixing to avoid breaking up the crab.
