  • 1 Large tortilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50 g Cooked sausage or bacon crumbled or chopped
  • 30 g Shredded cheese
  • 2 tbsp Salsa
  • 0.5 medium Avocado sliced or mashed
Optional Add-ins
  • 2 tbsp Diced bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp Diced onions
  • 0.5 cup Spinach
  • to taste Hot sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Scramble the eggs in a pan over medium heat until fully cooked; season with salt and pepper.
  2. Warm the tortilla in a microwave or on a dry pan for about 15-30 seconds to make it pliable.
Assembly
  1. Lay the warmed tortilla flat and spoon the scrambled eggs into the center.
  2. Sprinkle the cooked sausage or bacon and shredded cheese over the eggs.
  3. Add salsa, sliced or mashed avocado, and any optional add-ins like bell peppers, onions, or spinach.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it from the bottom up to form a burrito.
Serving
  1. Serve the breakfast burrito immediately, optionally with extra salsa or hot sauce on the side.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of chili flakes to the eggs or a dash of your favorite hot sauce. You can prepare the cooked meat and chop vegetables ahead of time to make assembly even quicker in the morning.
