Dough
  • 2 cups flour
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.5 tsp salt
Filling
  • 0.5 head cabbage finely chopped
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. To make the dough, combine flour, water, and salt in a bowl, then knead until smooth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. For the filling, mix the chopped cabbage, ground pork, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chopped green onions in a large bowl.
Assembly and Cooking
  1. Roll out the dough thinly and cut into small circles, then place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle and fold to create dumplings.
  2. Boil the dumplings in salted water for 5-7 minutes, or until they float and are cooked through.

Notes

For extra flavor, pan-fry the boiled dumplings until golden brown on one side. Serve with a dipping sauce of soy sauce, vinegar, and a touch of chili oil.
