Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 Chicken Breasts (about 1 lb), boneless, skinless, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz Fettuccine Pasta
  • 4 tbsp Butter
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1.5 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1.5 cups Parmesan Cheese freshly grated
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped (for garnish, optional)

Equipment

  • Large Pot
  • Large Skillet
  • Whisk
  • Tongs or Spatula

Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Boil fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. In a large skillet, season chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then cook with 1 tablespoon of butter until browned and fully cooked; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter and sauté minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer, stirring for 3-5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  3. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Taste and season the sauce with additional salt and pepper as needed.
  4. Return the cooked chicken pieces to the skillet and gently stir them into the prepared Alfredo sauce.
  5. Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it directly to the skillet with the chicken and sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

Consider adding vegetables like steamed broccoli or fresh spinach to the sauce for extra color and nutrients. For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese instead of pre-packaged varieties.
