  • 4 cups green cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
Dressing
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
Combine
  1. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture.
  2. Toss gently until all the ingredients are evenly coated.
Chill
  1. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

For best results, let the coleslaw chill for at least 30 minutes before serving. You can also add a touch of celery seed for extra flavor.
