Preparation
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and brush the grates with a little oil to prevent sticking.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels; then, season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, combine the olive oil and chopped fresh herbs.
Grilling
- Brush the salmon fillets with the herb-infused olive oil on both sides.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the preheated grill and arrange lemon slices on top of each fillet.
- Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
- Carefully remove the grilled salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve immediately with additional fresh lemon wedges and your favorite side dishes.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the lemon-herb olive oil for 15-30 minutes before grilling. You can also add a pinch of garlic powder to the herb mixture for an enhanced taste.
