  • 4 medium roma tomatoes

  • 1 large jalapeño remove seeds for less heat
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Finely dice the tomatoes, onion, and jalapeño, and roughly chop the fresh cilantro.
  2. Combine all the diced ingredients in a medium-sized bowl.
  3. Add lime juice and salt to the mixture, then stir everything together until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, allowing the flavors to meld for at least 10 minutes before serving for best results.

Notes

For a spicier pico de gallo, leave some of the jalapeño seeds in. You can also add a pinch of cumin for a deeper flavor profile.
