Preparation
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season them lightly with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the teriyaki sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
Cooking
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a little oil.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the hot skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the skin is crispy.
- Flip the salmon and pour the teriyaki sauce mixture over the fillets.
- Continue to cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, basting occasionally with the sauce.
Serving
- Remove the salmon from the skillet and transfer to serving plates.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in half of the teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of your salmon fillets.
