  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Slice the tomato and wash the lettuce leaves; set aside.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the seasoned chicken breasts for 5-7 minutes per side, until cooked through and golden brown.
  3. Lightly toast the sandwich buns in a separate pan or toaster.
Assembly
  1. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of each toasted bun.
  2. Place a cooked chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun.
  3. Top with lettuce leaves and tomato slices, then cover with the other half of the bun.
  4. Serve immediately and enjoy your freshly grown chicken sandwich!

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the chicken breasts for at least 30 minutes before cooking. You can also add cheese or pickles to your sandwich for more variety.
