  • 4 bacon slices, chopped

Preparation
  1. Chop the bacon into small pieces and cut the cabbage into 1-inch squares.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy.
  3. Remove the bacon, setting aside a tablespoon of bacon fat in the skillet, and add the chopped onion. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
