  • 1.5 cup Heavy Cream
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper

Equipment

  • Baking Dish

Method

Preparation

  2. Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline or a sharp knife; aim for uniform thickness for even cooking.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Assembly and Baking
  1. Arrange a layer of sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish, overlapping them slightly.
  2. Pour about one-third of the cream mixture over the potato layer, ensuring even distribution.
  3. Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with a final layer of potatoes topped with the remaining cream mixture.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a sprinkle of grated cheese, such as cheddar or Gruyere, in between the potato layers before baking. Ensure potatoes are sliced thinly for best results and even cooking.
