Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs turkey tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Equipment

  • Cutting board
  • Sharp knife
  • Oven-safe skillet
  • Meat thermometer

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and pat the turkey tenderloins dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika to create your seasoning blend.
Cook Turkey
  1. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Season the turkey tenderloins evenly with the spice mixture, then sear them in the hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 15-20 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the tenderloin reads 165°F (74°C). Remove the skillet from the oven.
Rest and Serve
  1. Tent the turkey tenderloins loosely with foil and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a more tender and flavorful turkey.
  2. Slice the turkey into medallions and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the turkey tenderloins for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator before cooking. You can also add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a sprinkle of fresh herbs like parsley or thyme after cooking for a burst of freshness.
