- Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
- Press the mixture evenly into a buttered 9x13 inch pan using a buttered spatula or wax paper.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a teaspoon of vanilla extract with the marshmallows. You can also mix in chocolate chips or sprinkles before pressing the mixture into the pan.
