Method

Meal Prep Sunday (or any preferred prep day)
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside. Cook ground beef, drain fat, and season with taco seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Grill or bake chicken breasts, then shred and season with salt and pepper.
Monday: Chicken Pasta
  1. In a large skillet, combine shredded chicken, cooked pasta, and marinara sauce. Heat through until warm and bubbly. Serve with a simple side salad if desired.
Wednesday: Beef Tacos
  1. Warm taco shells in the oven or microwave. Set out bowls of seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and shredded cheese. Let everyone build their own tacos.
Friday: Leftover Combo Night or Chicken & Veggie Stir-fry
  1. Use any remaining chicken, pasta, beef, or fresh vegetables to create a stir-fry, quesadillas, or another simple meal. This is a great way to reduce food waste and get creative.

Notes

Meal prepping some components on a less busy day saves a lot of time. Feel free to substitute ingredients based on your family's preferences or what you have on hand. For example, use ground turkey instead of beef, or different vegetables in the stir-fry.
