  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp parsley freshly chopped
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Equipment

  • large bowl

Method

Preparation
  1. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into five equal portions and roll each portion into a compact sphere to form the meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Ensure the oil is hot before adding the meatballs to prevent sticking.
  2. Carefully place the meatballs into the hot skillet. Cook them for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the mixture. These meatballs are great served with pasta, in a sub sandwich, or as an appetizer.
