  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup carrots chopped

  • 2 cups egg noodles

  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Add chicken breasts, chicken broth, chopped carrots, celery, and onion to your slow cooker.
  2. Season with salt and black pepper.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.
  3. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and add the egg noodles.
  4. Cook for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
Serving
  1. Stir well and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add fresh herbs like parsley or dill during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
