Preparation
- Peel the ginger and cut it into small pieces.
- Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
Blending
- Combine the ginger, lemon juice, turmeric, black pepper, and optional honey with a little water in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth.
Serving
- Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth.
- Pour into a shot glass and consume immediately for best results.
Notes
Adjust the amount of ginger and turmeric to your taste. For a milder shot, add a bit more water. You can also prepare a larger batch and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
