Ingredients
  

For the Fish
  • 1 lb white fish fillets such as cod, tilapia, or mahi-mahi
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 0.5 tsp cumin
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
For the Tacos
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 0.5 cup salsa your favorite
  • 0.5 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro chopped
Optional Toppings
  • 1 avocado sliced or diced
  • 0.25 cup red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeño sliced, for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Fish
  1. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels, then brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat, then grill the fish for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Warm the tortillas according to package directions, then flake the grilled fish into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Divide the fish among the warm tortillas, then top with shredded cabbage, a squeeze of lime, salsa, sour cream or Greek yogurt, and fresh cilantro.
Serve and Enjoy
  1. Add any desired optional toppings, such as avocado, sliced red onion, or jalapeño, then serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the fish for 15-30 minutes before grilling. You can also make a quick slaw by tossing the shredded cabbage with a drizzle of lime juice, olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
