Basic Hummus
- Combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and cold water in a food processor, blending until smooth.
- Season with salt to taste, then transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil, garnishing with paprika.
- For Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, simply add roasted red peppers to the basic hummus mixture and blend until smooth.
- To make Spicy Sriracha Hummus, incorporate sriracha sauce into the basic hummus and blend until well combined.
- For Lemon Herb Hummus, blend in fresh parsley, fresh dill, and lemon zest with the basic hummus.
- Finally, for Avocado Hummus, add ripe avocado to the basic hummus and process until creamy.

Notes
For extra smooth hummus, remove the skins from the chickpeas before blending. Adjust the amount of lemon juice and garlic to your preference. Hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
