  • 8 ounces pasta
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls
  • 0.5 cup fresh basil leaves
Dressing
  • 0.25 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions, then drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. While the pasta cooks, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the mozzarella balls.

Assembly
  1. Add the cooked pasta, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil to the bowl with the dressing.
  2. Toss everything gently until all ingredients are well combined and coated with the dressing.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the mozzarella balls in a little olive oil and Italian herbs for 30 minutes before adding them to the salad.
