  • 1 lb Beef sirloin sliced thinly
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, cornstarch, and sesame oil in a bowl.
Cooking
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced beef and cook until browned, then remove from skillet.
  3. Add garlic and ginger to the skillet and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return beef to the skillet and pour in the prepared sauce.
  6. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.

Serve immediately with steamed rice or noodles for a complete meal.
