- Stir in minced garlic, cumin, oregano, chili powder, salt, and black pepper, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
Cooking
- Add chicken broth, cannellini beans, diced green chilies, and cooked chicken to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat and let it cook for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Optionally, simmer longer for a richer flavor.
Serving
- Ladle the chili into bowls and serve hot. Garnish with your favorite toppings such as shredded cheese, sour cream, or fresh cilantro.
Notes
For an extra kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper with the other spices. This chili freezes well for future meals.
